James Morrow, M.D., serves as Chief Medical Information Officer at InteliChart, where he provides clinical leadership and guidance for both product development and product marketing.

Dr. Morrow also currently serves as the Vice-Chairman of the Board for the Georgia Health Information Exchange (GHIE) and is an Advisory Board Member for the Technology Association of Georgia for Health (TAG Health).

Dr. Morrow brings a well rounded perspective to our development efforts as he is in the unique position to provide insight on functionality and enhancements and then utilize InteliChart in his state-of-the-art family practice in Cummings Georgia.  

Previously Dr. Morrow served as both Medical Director and Vice President of Medical Affairs for Allscripts Healthcare Solutions. He also served two terms as a commissioner to the Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology (CCHIT).

Dr. Morrow is a previous recipient of the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society's (HIMSS) Davies Award for Excellence in EMR Implementation, and he was also recognized as the Physician IT Leader of the Year by HIMSS.

Dr. Morrow graduated from Clemson University and the University of South Carolina School Of Medicine. He completed his residency in Family Medicine in Anderson, South Carolina in 1985.
